Bad Luck

Seoin often has unsettling dreams. In one recurring dream, she finds herself involved with a man whose identity remains unknown. Desperate to conceive, she and her husband Kim have spent years undergoing fertility treatments. Out of frustration, Seoin visits a shaman recommended by a friend to understand why she cannot get pregnant. The shaman tells her, “You carry a heavy karmic debt. You were born to repay it in this life, but you’ve made another mistake. This is serious. You can’t escape it. Be grateful you haven’t had a child—your relationship is already broken.”

One day, Seoin’s friend Kim Mari comes to her with shocking news—she’s seven weeks pregnant. Mari confesses, “This child is Kim’s. Please get a divorce. I waited for you to end things, but I can’t wait anymore.”

Devastated, Seoin decides to pursue a divorce and consults a lawyer named Han Hoon. There, she encounters a man who looks exactly like the one from her dreams. From that moment, their fates begin to intertwine.
